Joe recently appeared in a series regular role as Mike Klink on the CW Network series Easy Money, starring Laurie Metcalf & Judge Reinhold, from the producers of Sopranos and Northern Exposure. Other recent film and tv appearances include The Purple Hat (2009 release), Dear John (2009 release), the 2009 pilot presentation LaLa Land, Into The West (Dir. Steven Spielberg), ABC Family’s Wildfire, the lead in SMACK (MethodFest Nominee: Best Feature), the maniacal Tobey in Death Valley (Kismet Films dvd release 08), & the lead in A Couple of Days & Nights (cable/dvd release 07). Joe is currently rehearsing and developing the role of Jackson Pollock in New York with director Moni Yakim of Juilliard, toward a 2010 opening of the new stage production.
Joe has performed on international tours for over a decade to theatres and festivals around the world including The Edinburgh International Festival, The Seattle, Vancouver, & Victoria Fringe festivals, The Prague Quadrennial Festival, Confrontations Festival in Poland, as well as theatres in Budapest, Cologne, Krakow, & Prague. In addition, Joe has performed on stages across the US including Playwrights Horizons in New York City, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Baltimore Theatre Project, Prop Theatre of Chicago, & Rubicon Theatre Company of California, as well as numerous theatres in Los Angeles, New Mexico, and Washington State.
Recently Joe created, directed, & performed in Café Burlesque-O! for the Rubicon Theatre Company, starred in and directed the five-month run of the hit rock-opera Taking The Jesus Pill in Los Angeles, and his play created with members of Tricklock entitled The Glorious & Bloodthirsty Billy The Kid completed three international tours to Chicago (Critics Pick: Chicago Tribune/Sun Times), Los Angeles (Critics Pick: LA Times/LA Weekly/Variety), Calgary, Belgrade, Krakow, & Cologne, and brought home the Spirit of the Fringe Award from the Edinburgh Festival in 2005.
He has served as Assistant Director to Moises Kaufman (Laramie Project) on Carmen, and has worked with numerous playwrights including Elana Greenfield, Neil LaBute, Mac Wellman, Elaine Avila, & Michael McClure, producing, performing, and directing, their original work.
